Abstract

The development of urban progress often experiences an inconsistency between urban development needs and the availibility and needs of RTH. Pekanbaru city turned into a city that moves into a form of metropolitan city, land use change in Pekanbaru City causes enviromental quality degradation, so that the existing area of existing public RTH must be considered and expanded and intensified its function. This study aims to determine the extent of public RTH that has existed until 2017 in the city of Pekanbaru and how to distribute the RTH and review the results of the strategy analysis of achieving the availibilty and needs of RTH in the city of Pekanbaru. The research was conducted in March to July 2017. The results showed that the proportion of RTH was set at least 30% of the total area of Pekanbaru City which is 18,967.80 ha consisting of Public RTH 12,645.20 ha (20%) and Private RTH 6,322,60 ha (10%) as mandated by Law No. 26 of 2007. The existing area of public RTH in Pekanbaru City in 2017 has only reached 419.70 ha (2.21%) and there is still a shortage of public RTH covering an area of 12,225.50 ha. Public RTH located in Pekanbaru City until 2017 consists of : (1) City Park covering an area of 98,522.02 m2, (2) Urban Forest covering an area of 1,698,900 m2, (3) Green Road RTH with an area of 161,001.86 m2, (4 ) Lake RTH covering an area of 1,201,100.00 m2, (5) Funeral RTH covering an area of 318,200.00 m2, (6) Sports Field RTH covering an area of 505,651.48 m2 and (7) RTH located in Government assets covering 213,657.20 m2. The Pekanbaru City Government and Pekanbaru City DPRD need to immediately place the green space problem as an important issue in the budget and ongoing program discussion and the Pekanbaru City Government must increase the availability of the budget for public green open space in an effort to achieve 20%. The plan to develop RTH in Pekanbaru City will be realized through the utilization of potential areas around the City of Pekanbaru. The realizationof the RTH of Pekanbaru City which is the Capital of Riau Province revealed in the RTH masterplan of at least 30% can be arranged in a systematic and realistic program indication framework.

Abstract

In response to the increasing level of environmental pollution, the waste management of the health center is carried out. This study aims to determine the components in the treatment of liquid waste, the effectiveness of the quality of liquid waste and the impact of wastewater from the health center. The study population was all health centers in the city of Pekanbaru which amounted to 21. The number of samples was 8 health centers which were selected using purposive sampling technique. Research respondents consisted of the head of the health center, sanitarian staff, third parties from the health service and the community living around the health center. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis with comparative methods that is comparing the results of the analysis of the quality of wastewater with the quality standards of waste according to Minister of Environment Regulation numbers. 5 of 2014.The results of the study showed that the human resources of health center in the city of Pekanbaru were adequate, namely bachelor of environmental health. Fund allocation of 7 health centers is from the Pekanbaru City Health Office. The facilities and infrastructure of the WWTP (Water Waste Treatment Plan) health center have suffered a lot of damage such as sewerage, control tubs and WWTP machine cables. The wastewater treatment method used is biologically (bacteriology) mixed with chlorine and oxidation reduction. The liquid waste treatment of health centers in the city of Pekanbaru has not been effective. Only 1 health center that can be analyzed is the quality of WWTP with BOD results of 2.35 mg / L COD 100 mg / L, TSS 8 mg / L, temperature 31oC and pH 7.51. These results indicate that the COD parameter exceeds the specified quality standard of 80 mg / L. The results of interviews with the community around the health center indicate aspects of the community around the health center in the city of Pekanbaru. This is because soil and water pollution due to liquid waste cannot be directly felt, but requires a relatively long time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship of land use change or changes in land cover with the water quality of the River Takuana and the relationship of pollutant load with the capacity of the Takuana River. River carrying capacity is obtained by the Mass Balance method on the parameters of BOD, COD, DO, TSS, NH3-N, pH and Temperature. Sampling was carried out at three points based on the division of the river. The results showed that there was a relationship between land conversion to river water quality as evidenced by the statistical calculation of the t-hit value indicating that the significance of TSS was 1.7 <0.05, the significance was 0.017 <0.05, which means that TDS and TSS had no significant effect on land conversion while BOD, DO, COD, pH. temperature and NH3N have a relationship with the extent of the function, because the significance of the results is smaller or equal to 0.05 BOD the significance is 0.013 <0.05, DO significance is 0.030 <0.05, the significance temperature is 0.017 <0.05 and NH3N 0.052 <0.05. River carrying capacity is influenced by the amount of pollutants and river water rate while river pollutant load is influenced by the amount of pollutants and water discharge. So the higher the rate of water also affects the river water discharge, based on the calculation of pollutant load and carrying capacity shows that there is a relationship that the amount of pollutant load for the overall parameters of pollutants exceeds the capacity of polluting the Takuana River. for TSS parameters the amount of pollutant load is 57,600 mg / sec and TSS capacity is 37.69 mg / liter, but still meets the class II quality criteria based on Government Regulation No. 82 of 2001 of 50 Mg / liter. TDS pollutant load is 30,430 mg / second, TDS capacity is 21.52 mg / liter but pollutant load still meets class II quality criteria, DO pollutant load is high but still meets class II quality criteria. For high pollutant loads COD, BOD and NH3-N result in lower capacity and have exceeded the class II quality criteria according to GovernmentRegulation No. 82 of 2001. The higher the pollutant load that enters the river, resulting in lower river capacity
